Google Cloud Unveils Advanced AI Agents to Transform Healthcare

The Artificial Intelligence remains a game-changer for the healthcare industry, which offers promises to reduce administrative burden and increase the reach of clinical teams-especially as a population of aging demands more care.

Now, a new wave of AI, known as Agentic AI, is emerging. Unlike traditional chatbott or basic automation tools, agent AI can handle complex, multi-step tasks. According to the Global Director, Ashima Gupta for the healthcare strategy at Google Cloud, it is a major step to automatically automatic healthcare workflow.

One such innovation is a part of the deep research assistant of Google, part of its AI Garden, which can scan the huge data sources, generate insight, and even it can document how it reached those conclusions.

Further, multi-agent systems-where many AI agents work collaborated in various tasks-can revolutionize health service operations. Google recently introduced the Agent2Gent protocol, which enables agents to communicate and collaborate to various developers’ agents.

“Imagine a system where the AI agents autonomally manage revenue cycles, streamlines the processing of claims, and solve the hurdles, ”Gupta explained.

Early adoptions such as Hyamark Health and Hackencac Meridian Health are already integrating these devices. In Himarks, more than 14,000 employees use generic AI for tasks ranging from software development to call centers, shared by Richard Clarke, Chief Data and Analytics Officer.

Sameer Sethi, the chief AI officer of Hackensack Meridian, imagines a future, where agents coordinate complex services such as doctor’s appointments, transport, wheelchairs and leaflet pickup – all in a spontaneous process.

“This agent is the essence of AI, “Said Sethi.” It is about orchestrating various activities and technologies to work in harmony.
