PM Modi to Inaugurate Major Healthcare Infrastructure Projects on July 17, Says PGIMER Director

The inauguration is expected to significantly strengthen PGIMER’s clinical and research capabilities, particularly in response to the increasing demand for advanced maternal, paediatric, and neurological care. The Advanced Mother and Child Centre will focus on managing high-risk pregnancies, neonatal care, and paediatric services, while the Advanced Neurosciences Centre will provide advanced diagnosis and treatment for neurological disorders. The Critical Care Block will further enhance the institute’s ability to care for critically ill patients requiring intensive medical support and continuous monitoring.

According to Dr. Lal, these projects represent an important step in the government’s broader effort to strengthen India’s public healthcare infrastructure through specialised centres of excellence. Their dedication will mark another significant milestone in expanding access to advanced medical services in the region.
